About me

My journey into the world of specialty coffee began in October 2021, when I left my former job in the office of the FC Bayern Munich basketball team. In my search for new challenges and interests, I had some interesting conversations with new industries. Among others with the owner of the Munich coffee roasting company emilo. One visit to the “hallowed halls” of the coffee roastery and I was convinced: this has to be my next chapter. From that moment on, my knowledge of the incredibly diverse product that is coffee grew daily and I absorbed everything I could about the subject. From conversations to books to YouTube videos, every opinion and every new input captivated me. Accompanied by all the impressions, smells and tastes, I was now responsible for sales, B2B business and customer service at emilo from January 2022. In this role, I was able to accompany various customers (from small individual companies to corporations) in catering, food retail and office sectors on their coffee journey and make it a success. A feeling that I have never experienced in any other job and which still motivates me every day. From January 2023, I was also responsible for these business areas as part of the management team. Unfortunately, life sometimes turns out a little differently than you plan. emilo had to be given up and wound up due to a legal dispute with the landlord of the coffee roastery. So my chapter there ended earlier than planned at the end of February 2024. After a short period of reflection and some further training and education in the coffee sector, a new chapter began for me on June 1, 2024. Self-employment as a barista with my own coffee bar and as a consultant in the big wide world of coffee. I am very happy to be able to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm to you and your guests.
